স্থগিত এইচএসসি’র বিষয়ে সিদ্ধান্ত হবে আইনশৃঙ্খলা পরিস্থিতির উন্নতি হলেই।

রাষ্ট্রীয় অতিথি ভবন যমুনায় অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের প্রথম বৈঠক শেষ হয়েছে। শুক্রবার (০৯ আগস্ট) দুপর ১২টা থেকে শুরু হওয়া এ বৈঠক শেষে গণমাধ্যমে কথা বলেন এ সরকারের উপদেষ্টা সৈয়দা রিজওয়ানা হাসান। অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের প্রথম বৈঠকে তিন বাহিনী প্রধান, পুলিশের মহাপরিদর্শকসহ বিভিন্ন মন্ত্রণালয়ের সচিবরা অংশ নেন। সৈয়দা রিজওয়ানা হাসান বলেন, শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান খোলা এবং এইচএসসির বিষয়ে এখনও কোনো সুনির্দিষ্ট সিদ্ধান্ত বা আলোচনার সুযোগ হয়নি। কারণ শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান খোলার সাথে আইনশৃঙ্খলা পরিস্থিতিও জরুরি। এখনও অনেক থানা তাদের কার্যক্রম শুরু করতে পারেনি। পরিস্থিতির উন্নতি হলে এ বিষয়ে সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করা হবে।

এছাড়াও বৈঠকে মতপ্রকাশের বিষয়ে করণীয়, শিক্ষকদের সাথে আলোচনা করে শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান খুলে দেওয়া, শিক্ষার্থীদের সম্পৃক্ত করে মন্ত্রণালয়গুলো পরিচালনার জন্য আলোচনা, রাষ্ট্রীয় কাঠামো পুনর্গঠনে শিক্ষার্থীদের সাথে আলোচনা, আর্থিক খাতগুলো সক্রিয় করতে নেতৃত্বস্থানীয় পর্যায়ে পরিবর্তন, ব্যবসায়িক পরিবর্ত সৃষ্টি, বাজারের ওপর নিয়ন্ত্রণের মতো বিষয়গুলো নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। এসময় সাংবাদিকদের প্রশ্নের জবাবে সৈয়দা রিজওয়ানা হাসান বলেন, সরকারের মেয়াদের বিষয়ে এখন আলোচনা করা সম্ভব না। কারণ, এখানে কী ধরনের রিফর্ম করা হবে, তার জন্য একটি সময় লাগবে। দিনশেষে আমাদের সবারই যাত্রা যেহেতু গণতন্ত্রের দিকেই। সেজন্য কী ধরনের সংস্কার করা হবে—তার ওপর এ সরকারের মেয়ার নির্ভর করবে।
